What is a Google Shopping Feed?
The Google Shopping Feed is a data file that contains all the information about your products, such as prices, shipping costs, and stock levels. This feed is used by Google Merchant Center to display your products in Google Shopping and create ads via Google Ads.
Getting started with Google Merchant Center
Follow our step-by-step guide:
- Go to 'Settings' in your CMS (Back-end).
- Open the "Webshop" tab.
- Check 'Generate Google Shopping Feed'.
- Click "Save and continue".

- Click the gear icon (settings) in Google Merchant Center and select 'Data sources'. Read more: https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/12158380?sjid=12509661707045136778-EU
- Then create a new product feed.
- Select 'Add products from a file'.
- Choose 'Provide a link to a file' and enter 'yourwebshop.com/feed/googleShoppingFeed.xml'.
- Select 'Automatically update every 24 hours'.
- At the bottom of the page, select 'Belgium and Netherlands' with the feed label 'NL'.

How to regenerate the Shopping Feed
The Shopping Feed is automatically updated every 24 hours. If you have made significant changes and want to refresh the feed immediately, follow these steps:
Manually regenerate:
- Type /feed/googleShoppingFeed?regenerate=1 after your webshop URL.
- Example: yourdomain.com/feed/googleShoppingFeed?regenerate=1
Wait:
- Regeneration may take a few hours, depending on the number of active products.
